{new venture...}

I've started a new hobby: jewelry making. I've wanted to do this for so long. Why should I wait any longer?! I went down, picked up my tools and went to work. {Mind you, it has only been a week since I started, but I LOVE it!} Maybe I should take a class, but I usually prefer to learn on my own.
Here are some of my recent creations....

Please don't judge the work by the quality of the picture. :) Either way, it's been so much fun coming up with my own creations and working with the wire, etc. In the above creations I used swarovski crystals, frshwater pearls, repurposed beads from an old bracelet and vintage buttons. I've already decided my favorite materials and love that every day I have a new thought pop into my head.

What do you think?!

These are really fun Tal! ok... don't get offended but usually when people make their own jewelry, its kinda cheesy! But these are SUPER CUTE! I love the teal ones with the green around them(thats what they look like from the pic anyways)! So cool!! :D Love ya!!

Tal, I love the multi-colored ones. They're very vogue right now. Spring always seems like a time when the formal becomes more relaxed and colorful. Those earrings are awesome. Jolleen has been doing sdome great studs usuing vintage buttons, too. I love the materials and can't wait to see the versatility that you bring to the jewlery. Yay!
