{weekend projects}

I've had a couple of projects that I've wanted to start for a while. Since I only had a partial work day on Friday...I went over to one of my most frequented yarn shops, Hilltop Yarn. After I got home, I started knitting! I can't tell you just yet, what this is going to be...but, I'll share soon. It's going to be for my soon to be niece/nephew. (And no, I'm sure it'll be a surprise. It's not what you may think ;)

Saturday, I had planned some Antique Shopping, but my friend and I got a bit carried away at another favorite yarn shop, Weaving Works - and I ended up starting a different project (only this time, crochet).

Since this is the first time I'm trying either of these specific projects, I'm anxious to see how they turn out.

happy CREATIVE day!

Look at you...two yarn projects at once! We are currently calling baby Samophia since he will either be Samuel or she will be Sophia. So, Samophia thinks you in advance for whatever little delightfulness you are crafting up!

Bravo! I wish I knew how to knit but when I think about taking on a new project, such as learning to knit, I'd just rather not!
Maybe someday I will want to learn...

Sissy - I have about 4 yarn projects going on. I need to slow it down and focus on one! LOL. "Samophia" will love them! ;) Love you preggo.

Jenn - I'm sure you'd be wonderful at it...knowing you!! But, I understand where you're coming from. Oh, and I'm going to make some of those "bottle cozies" that you did too! What a cute idea. :)

Good luck with this! I am glad it's you and not me! You have the ability, I don't :)

OHHHHHH.....I CAN'T WAIT! I am beside myself! I love gifts/surprises. No, you don't get it. I really love them. HAHA. As much as Beese loves food!

Amber, by the way, I tried to combine our boy and girl name and it didn't work at all! I tried many combinations and it was awful! Yours is cute!!!
